Parmis Sionit, DDS, MSD
Dr. Parmis Sionit has been practicing orthodontics since 2003 and is passionate about giving her patients a beautiful, healthy smile. She is a native of San Diego and lives in Carmel Valley with her family. She loves creating beautiful smiles in her own community!
Dr. Sionit’s professional background includes attending UCSD for her undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Chemistry and Spanish. She attended the UCLA Dental Graduate Program where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, with Dean’s Honors. She also served as the student body president and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (highest academic honors). She completed her prestigious Orthodontic Residency Program at at the University of Washington where she earned her Masters degree. She also has a background in clinical research evaluating facial affects of expanders and other orthodontic treatment.
Fun Facts about the doctor:
Dr. Sionit is a mom of three and loves kids more than anything! Her husband and son are such big star wars fans she named one of her daughters Leia! She loves snowboarding, hiking, and bike rides with her family. She has been known to dance around the office when the right song comes on. Her favorite thing about being an orthodontist is “the amazing people that I meet and form lasting relationships with. I love my patients!”
Kelly Ryan Taylor, DDS, MSD
Dr. Kelly Ryan Taylor is a native of Carlsbad, California and practices exclusively in our Carlsbad location. Dr. Taylor attended the University of California Los Angeles where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. Upon graduation, she stayed at UCLA for dental school where she was awarded numerous awards for her clinical and academic performance. Dr. Taylor graduated in the top of her class with high honors and was selected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Taylor was then fortunate enough to attend the prestigious University of Washington Orthodontic Residency Program. Here, Dr. Taylor received her Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Taylor has extensively studied the relationship between orthodontic treatment and quality of life. She has presented her research internationally and has published her studies in American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the most acclaimed orthodontic research journal. Dr. Taylor is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest mark given to orthodontists. She is also an active member in many dental organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, California Orthodontic Association, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Taylor enjoys being a partner practice where she improves the smiles of patients in North County. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, travel, attend sporting events, and root on the Bruins.
Jamie
Treatment Coordinator
Jamie has been in the orthodontic field for 27 years. As a treatment coordinator she enjoys meeting new patients and helping them get started with their orthodontic journey and seeing their new smile transform. Jamie relocated from the bay area with her husband and their family in 2021 after her husband retired. Jamie and her husband are enjoying San Diego life and love to spend the day at the beach any chance they get.
Ashley
Patient Coordinator
Meet Ashley, born and raised in Colorado, who’s recently swapped the slopes for sunny skies in San Diego. With a deep passion for skiing, Ashley’s adventurous spirit has always been a part of who she is. Ashley has five years of front office experience in the dental field, she brings both expertise and a warm, friendly energy to her work. Known for her bubbly personality and kind heart, Ashley strives to create a positive, welcoming environment for everyone she meets. Whether it’s helping patients feel at ease or adding a little sunshine to the office, Ashley’s genuine care shines through in everything she does.
Renee
Financial Coordinator
You will find Renee at our front desk, and you’re going to love her. She is always willing to help patients with their needs; it’s what she loves to do. She lives here in North County with her 3 children and is very active with their sports and school activities. Her favorite things to do are snowboarding, cooking, arts and crafts, a good movie and anything with family and friends.
Melissa H
Orthodontic Assistant
Melissa is originally from Massachusetts where she attended school and started her orthodontic assistant career in 2007. She moved to Southern Cali to be close to her husband’s family. Her favorite part about working at CVO is seeing the transformation of the patients’ smiles during treatment and the excitement at the end. She is a great communicator and has a special touch making nervous patients feel at ease. In her spare time she enjoys going to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, and bike rides along the beach.
Kimia
Orthodontic Assistant
Kimia is a dedicated orthodontic team member with experience in both orthodontics and general dentistry. Originally from Tehran, Iran, she now calls San Diego home. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and enjoys building meaningful connections with each person she meets.
Kimia especially loves getting to know her patients and being part of their smile transformation journey. Outside of the office, she spends her time at the gym, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends. As an only child, family remains very important to her.
Kimia is also working toward her goal of becoming a dentist in the future, while enjoying reading and continuing to grow in her field.
Corina
Orthodontic Assistant
Corina is from Aspen,Colorado and moved to downtown San Diego 4 years ago with her husband.When she’s not at work she is traveling and exploring countries around the world! Corina has been in ortho for 8 years and her favorite thing about ortho is creating relationships with patients.
